The home listed at the top, for sale for $1,175 in 1893, would easily be worth $600,000 or more now. What do you think the second listing, with 7 rooms and a reception hall, would be worth now? Notice it is on the east side of Salt Lake City. Most homes built at that time were in the Avenues, or north east of Liberty Park.
